Pardee Home Museum

Located in the downtown area of Oakland, the Pardee Home is one of the most beautiful Italianate villas in northern California. Click on the images to see full size views of the beautiful grounds where your event will be held. The museum location offers ample, free on-street parking for evening or weekend events. A fee-based parking structure is located close by for weekday gatherings. The museum, a neighbor to Preservation Park and Landmark Place, is easily reached from any point in the Bay Area.
The Pardee Home estate offers lawn space for upwards of 150 guests. The rear gardens are typically quiet during the evening and on weekends, and your guests can really believe they have been transported back to a more gracious era! A modern kitchen is conveniently located off the back porch and will be available for food storage and preparation during the day of the event. The renovated rear gardens, facing the charming 1868 coach house, offer a secluded and charming environment perfect for most private events. The intact coach house interior can be used for dancing, buffet-style food service, or other special activities you wish for your event. Interior rooms of the home are available by special request for the additional requirements of an on-site wedding.
